My Family
1. Prince
I have this adorable, food-loving, black and white dog. He's a lovable, oily mix of a Bernese mountain dog and a Brittany spaniel. He's also allergic to everything. For example, trees make him itch, all meat except duck and turkey make him bite his fur off, and soy and corn make him sick. So, we have to hide pills in marshmallows and give it to our unsuspecting dog. We also have to buy some expensive special pet food. All the money spent on this old dog is worth it. He's a wonderful guard dog (even if his constant barking wakes me up, but he always sleeps by Zoe and I's bunk bed to guard us), he loves to lay on feet, he enjoys hanging around the dinner table and begging you for food with his big eyes, he likes to race you if you start running, he enjoys taking walks with the neighbor's old female dog, and he is adorable when he wags his tail. Yes, he's not the cleanest dog in the world. He's oily, muddy, and dusty, but that doesn't stop me from hugging him and telling him about my day. I love my dog, and I think he loves me back.

2. Hershey
My sister has a calico with the softest fur and the worst temperament. She has a silky pelt that feels exactly like rabbit fur. She enjoys the attention the family gives her, but she can be quite demanding. One second you'll be petting this sweet cat. Then, you'll realize you have something to do, get up to leave, and the cat will pounce on you. She'll claw and bite until you give her more attention, or run away, either one. She's a very strong and brave cat. She's not afraid to attack squirrels or ferocious animals that are twice her size (this gets her into a bit of trouble). She's just as predatory as any wild creature, and this terrifies the poor dog. Despite her power, if you make a loud noise that startles her, she'll run up a tree. If she's inside the house, she'll scamper off. This aggressive feline will run when a thud sounds. Other than that, she's nearly fearless, nearly.

3. Alex
My chubby little guinea pig is the cutest thing. We're still not sure if it's a boy or a girl, but there's a 78% chance it's male. Alex is an overfed pig that likes to waddle around his cage and chew on his bars. He also enjoys eating fresh fruit, vegetables, and his food pellets. He loves eating all these things so much that he's overeaten, so my family and I are working on an exercise plan for him. He also likes hiding in dark places and eating new things. He'll attempt to eat the carpet, wrapping paper, wires, and so much more! This furry little guy is the sweetest. I'm happy to have him (or her) in my life (but we're pretty sure it's a boy).

4. My Dad (his name is Keith)
At first glance, you might think this man is stoic, awkward, and emotionless. Well, he's not! He's actually a very nice guy who gave me my horrible sense of humor. If you hate my puns, just blame it on the family humor curse. He has his own special way of expressing his emotions, which might not be obvious at first. This is because how he grew up is a lot different from how my Mother and my siblings grew (or are growing) up. I'm not going to go into much detail, but his family didn't discuss many things. Plus, there's these medical issues and etc. that make him unfamiliar with emotions. He'll never be intensely happy or sad, but that's not always a bad thing. He very loving with subtle ways of expressing it that make me say, "You're my favorite father!" Then he'll reply with," I'm your only father." And I'll say," Nope, I remember all my past lives, and you're my favorite!" Then I'll hug him. He helps sharpen my mental skills a lot. Often, the entire family discusses complex topics at the dinner table. That or we just talk about our day and joke around. Sometimes, when I'm discussing my opinion with my dad, he'll start arguing the opposite point. At some points I'll be confused because I know he agrees with me. So, I argue my own point until I eventually ask him if he really believes this. He'll explain that he's playing Devil's advocate and he wants me to see all sides of the story. This has taught me to look at all the information before basing my opinion. Plus, he always encourages us to have our own views and ideas of the world. He's a wonderful man with a scruffy beard, glasses, a genius mind (and a genius about minds, because he's a neurologist), knowledge on how to fix technology, and a big heart.

5. My mom (her name is Sarah)
This, is one strong, wonderful woman. She birthed and took care of two squalling twins. Then, she took care of a newborn and her twin daughters while her husband was put in the hospital for cancer. She has helped the entire family with their issues (this includes my wonderful, loving grandparents, my amazing aunts and uncles, and my lovely cousins!) while battling her own demons. She has a lot of emotion and a short temper, but she constantly works hard to fix her issues. She meditates, reads anxiety books, and always tells us how much she loves us. She doesn't only say her love, she expresses it. The amount of gifts, love, and praise I have gotten is such an immense amount I almost feel as if I don't deserve it. Yet, my mother is there to assure me I deserve much more. Upon hearing that I get a smile and tell her she's the best mother in the universe. If you haven't noticed I often use hyperboles while giving compliments. Since both my parents are scholarly (with my mother being an ex-English professor and my dad being a brain doctor) the entire family often goes on educational vacations. My mother even brought us to a Mongolian buddhist temple/museum for mother's day. At the place I get to experience a new culture, my brother might've cursed himself, and I nearly stepped on the Buddha. I love my family. Along with her love of all things educational (which I have also inherited, an ancient burial ground of past Native Americans is more appealing to me than the beach) she loves gardening. She has a green thumb for it, while I kill every plant I come in contact with. Her love of plants often leads us to Botanical Gardens (just like how Zoe and I's love of animals leads us to the zoo). She loves breathing in the aroma and excitedly pointing to rare plants. I, on the other hand, enjoy looking at the poison dart frogs that garden has on display. They were cool. Anyways, I have a wonderful mother with red hair, hazel eyes, and a big heart!

6. My little brother (his name is Riley)
He is a mixture of sweet and devilish. My interesting brother is said to be the spitting male image of Zoe and I. When people see us together they mention how our brother looks like us. We respond by informing them that of course he looks like us, he's our lovely little brother. This boy loves everything sports, which I don't understand. Being into more academic pursuits, my family has to adjust to his interest (but not my one Aunt, Uncle, and their kids, they love sports). We support him, but sometimes I worry that he's putting too much time into sports. And I'm not just saying that because I'm annoyed that he keeps repeatedly throwing a baseball at my bedroom door. He has a fondness for scientific experiments, geology, and radios. I suspect he hides that sometimes so he can fit in with the other boys of his grade. Despite that, I'll support him in whatever he does (and I'll tell him cool experiments we can try sometimes). He's not the complete oddball of the family. Like I said, he enjoys science and rocks, but he has an undying love for boring board games. He won't sit through a "boring" movie, but he'll force you to play a slow moving game until everyone reaches the end. Everyone. He is quite a charmer among the ladies, having three girlfriends in preschool, and he's a really kind kid. He gets nervous easily, but can be calmed by me and the family. He's loving (even if he doesn't admit it) and strong. To show of his strength, he challenges me to battles. I often win, but sometimes I'll let him beat me. It's worth it to see his big grin and dumb victory dance. He will occasionally listen to me (once every blue moon). He enjoys eating popcorn with candy, and pretending he has no emotions (even though he cries when he stubs his toe). My brother is a brown haired, brown eyed, freckled, devil with a big heart he tries to hide (but fails).

7. My twin (her name is Zoe)
Be prepared for a longer paragraph than what was on the friend's page. In that, I barely scratched the surface. Want to know the nicest person I know of? Then go talk to my wonderful twin. She's always kind, understanding, and will peacefully end an argument. That's extremely different from me because the second you insult someone I love I'll make an attempt to tear out your throat. Zoe, on the other hand, will calmly tell you that you've stepped out of line. Then, she'll proceed to ask you why you would so something like that. She'll do that in every fight, unless it's against me. Our fights involve rapid fire yelling with such an intensity that my grandmother used to worry we'd kill each other (what loving sisters). Yet, the arguments leave as soon as they come. We either compromise, or forgive and forget. Another reason my sister is amazing, is that she'll let you have the spotlight. She lets everyone share the attention equally and she's a very understanding person. She's also extremely funny. I can't express this enough, but she can make me laugh until my sides ache. She happens to be very creative, coming up with fantastical story ideas that leave me in awe. Along with her creativity, she's extremely smart. She's also a wonderful advice giver and secret keeper. Except we don't keep secrets from each other, so she'll tell me (at least I think she will, don't worry I don't judge people based on their secrets). Zoe is also an amazing soprano singer. She might tell you otherwise, but I know she can sing like a lark. She just gets nervous. My sister gets nervous a lot. She's afraid of thunderstorms, bad traffic, heights, and the judgmental minds of people. Despite her terror, she can be very brave. I'll applaud her for that *clapping*. Zoe, my lovely twin, is funny, intelligent (she helps me with confusing situations), brave, and she has such a big heart you can't miss it if you tried.

Family inheritance
This is just a little section where I want to name off all the curses and gifts I've inherited from my wonderful family. They make everyday magical, literally.
The wrath of the My mother's side of the family: There's a persisting joke on my mother's side of the family. It's that all the female descendants have a horrible temper. Now, this can be attributed to the melting pot of mental disorders and anxiety passed down through generations, or to the female inheritance of fury. Now, I'm going to inform you that every female born of or descended from my grandmother, has a short temper. It doesn't make them bad people, in fact, it makes them very brave. Yet, it's a little terrifying to be faced with the kind of fury that would make the devil second guess his actions. This "Wrath" also gives all the women the loudest yelling voices you'll ever hear. Believe it or not, Zoe and I have really loud yelling voices. You'll probably never hear us use it, but we have it. Speaking of loud voices...
My mother's family deep voice: I've always wondered why I would hit some notes considered for male voices only. Plus, I've been aware that my voice happens to be deeper than the other girl's. If you ever hear me while I'm relaxed, you'll be hearing my real voice, and it's pretty deep. The deep voice passes down to near everyone in the family, and it's pretty cool to have a shared trait.
The Granddaughter curse: in which every granddaughter so far has run off with a guy. Ah, the granddaughter curse is a new one. After my mother broke the Sibling curse (If you want more detail about this curse, it's nearly the same as the Granddaughter curse) the family thought that would be the end of terrible jinxes. Yet, this new issue has reared it's ugly head. After the first two granddaughters, my time is coming up. My mother has promised me I will break the curse just like she did oh so many years ago (I love how my family can turn everyday life into a magical adventure).
